JOCHEN ZEITZ IS MAKING HARLEY’S AMERICAN WORKERS
SCARED AS HELL
IT DOESN’T TAKE A GENIUS TO FIRE PEOPLE
AND SHIP THEIR JOBS OVERSEAS
Jochen Zeitz has been praised as some sort of wunderkind because he helped turn around the Puma shoe company.
But what did he do, really?
He fired people and shipped their jobs overseas.
Wow, what a genius!
And what does he want to do to Harley-Davidson? Many believe that he once again wants to fire people and ship their jobs overseas.
The unions are wary of Harley-Davidson, and claim they have “backtracked” on their promises. And does anyone really believe that production in Thailand will only be temporary? We’ll believe it when we see it.
News reports say that Harley’s American workforce is nervous about their future. And based on Zeitz’s history at Puma, they have good reason to be scared.
THE TALIBAN OF JOB
DESTRUCTION
THE IRONY OF SPOUTING “SUSTAINABILITY” WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY
KILLING AMERICAN JOBS
How “sustainable” is it for an American company to send their production overseas? Because once you cross that line by saying, “Well, in this one isolated instance, we have to make our products in Asia, otherwise we can’t compete”, then where does it end? If cutting costs is your number one concern, then why not send ALL production to Asia?
We believe that using tariffs as a justification to make products elsewhere is merely a first step in eventually sending all manufacturing to any impoverished country that can build Harley-Davidson motorcycles for a few dollars less, because their workforce is willing to work for peanuts.
We also believe that Jochen Zeitz is lying to us, and that his plan all along is to make Harley-Davidson a 100% foreign-made product. But he’s shrewd enough to know he can’t say that openly, otherwise he would have a revolt. So he does it incrementally, in tiny steps, claiming “it’s only for product year 25”, when we believe his actual plan is to “reimagine” Harley-Davidson the same way he reimagined Puma - and sent a vast amount of their production to Asia — permanently.
30 years later, Puma shoes are still made in Vietnam, China, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Romania.
If he’s willing to eliminate the jobs of his fellow Germans, doesn’t it make sense that American jobs would mean even less to him? Is it really such a leap to imagine that eventually Thailand and a host of other Asian countries will one day make most or all Harley-Davidson motorcycles? He’s already destroyed Harley’s reputation through WOKEness, so why not finish the job by handing over manufacturing duties to anyone else — including Mexico?
It would sound crazy, if not for the fact that, under his leadership, we are currently witnessing Harley’s destruction in real time. What once seemed preposterous is now seeming all-too-real. The crazies are running the show, and their loyalties are to no one but their own bottom line.
Skeptics would say this is pure speculation, but it’s based on his impossible-to-hide track record of putting profits ahead of people. You don’t need to be a Mind Reader to see where all of this may eventually be heading. If he was willing to do it to Puma, (and then be praised as a genius), why wouldn’t he do it to Harley-Davidson, and once again be lauded by business journals as a fearless cost-cutting Titan of Industry?
Can you imagine if an American moved to Germany to be CEO of their iconic brand Mercedes-Benz, and then immediately fired half their workers, and then sent their jobs to China? There would be calls for him to be deported and thrown out on his ass.
But, somehow, we Americans are supposed to quietly trust this radical WOKE German when he sends Harley’s production to Thailand, and says, “Trust me! It’s just temporary!”
Before you put your trust in him, remember that this is a man who literally believes that women have penises and that men can get pregnant. Does that sound like a person you would trust with cleaning your toilet, let alone running a company?
If Jochen Zeitz manages to have most or all Harley-Davidsons made outside of America, he can finally move back home to Germany and run the entire operation from there, because Harley will no longer be an American company. And while he enjoys more 40-million-a-year paydays, and parties with his globalist buddies, those Americans who formerly worked at Harley-Davidson will have had their lives, careers and families destroyed in the process.
And then Jochen Zeitz can smile and truly say that he became The Taliban of Job Destruction.
This is what Zeitz did to puma.
No wonder Harley workers fear for their jobs.
UNION PRESIDENT
SPEAKS OUT
ZEITZ IS A GLOBALIST
Just as Bud Light is owned by Belgians, Harley-Davidson’s CEO is a German who wasn’t born in America, and he doesn’t understand our intense pride in saying Harleys are “Made In America.”
Zeitz is a globalist, and that can be clearly seen by his actions and his numerous global alliances. Even on his own Board, there are members of the much-despised globalist group World Economic Forum.
So why should a German globalist care about keeping jobs here in America, when he can simply ship production to Asia and save some money?
Saying “Harley-Davidson” and “Made In America” in the same sentence may soon become a thing of the past. Because Globalists aren’t loyal to a particular country. To them, the whole world is their workforce, and American workers are last in line.
